In this article you will learn how to mange how to share your screens, customize your video experience and synchronise your layout, so everybody sees what you see.

Start screen-sharing

Sign into Meedio

• If help needed refer to Sign in

After joining the video call

• If help needed to join the video call refer to the respective meetings/consultations/queues/boards help page
• Press the "Share screen"  button located at the bottom left
• Allow meedio to see your screen (similar to allowing camera/microphone access) by pressing allow on your browser pop up
• Select the screen or application window you want to share

Managing your screen transmission

• You can share up to 4 different windows or screens by pressing the "Share screen" button located at the bottom left next to the red "Stop screen share" button and then following the procedure of before
• Press the visibility slider next to the "Share screen" button to hide your screen transmission from yourself while still being visible to the other participants

Stop screen-sharing

• You can choose to stop the screen-sharing of any or all screens by pressing the red "Stop screen share" button located at the bottom left
• To stop all screen shares simultaneously press the "Stop sharing all screens" button which came up on the "Screen sharing control" pop-up window
• To stop individual screen transmissions press the cross which comes up if you hover over the respective screen share in the "Screen sharing control" window

Customize your layout

Adjust your layout

• Drag and Drop (press on the window, continuously keep pressing, move where you want the window to be and release) on video/screen transmission to move them wherever you like
• Double click to maximize a window, double click to bring it back to normal view
• Possible to maximize multiple windows for a side by side view
• If a window is maximized you see a pin in the bottom left indicating that the window is pinned

Zoom in

• You can zoom in on video/screen transmission by maximizing the window you want to zoom in (so it becomes pinned)
• Adjust how far you want to zoom in via the slider coming up at the top left of the pinned window
• Move around the zoomed in screen by dragging your mouse around the window
• Return to normal view by pressing on the arrow next to the slider

Synchronise your layout

Start synchronising

• Show exactly what you see on screen by pressing the "synchronise layout" button next to the "Share screen" button
• Confirm by pressing the green "Start" button on the pop up window

Finish synchronising

• While you are still synchronising your view, you will see your view green bordered with a description reading "Synchronising view"
• To finish synchronising press the red "Disable synchronisation" button
